Detection Of Nematode Worm Eggs In The Feces Of Domestic Chicken (Gallus domesticus) In Karang Bongkot Village Labuapi District West Lombok Regency

Domestic chicken (Gallus domesticus) is one type of poultry that has experienced domestication and spread throughout the archipelago. Chicken consumed by humans should be in a healthy condition free from various types parasites. Information about infected with parasites needed to maintain animal health prevent occurrence zoonotic diseases. Research been carried out on Karang Bongkot Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency aim detecting nematode worms chicken. Samples were taken as many 5 feces examined native floating method Equine Clinical Skills Center (CSC) laboratory Faculty Veterinary Medicine, Mandalika Universitas Mataram, then identified based their morphology. Two samples positive for infection. The results this study succeeded nematodes infect chickens Heterakis gallinarum species.
